FINALLY! A state acknowledges our right to shoot home invaders who illegally enter our homes EVEN if the bastards wear a police uniform. Maybe this will finally lead to the elimination of "No Knock" warrants.
Too many innocent homeowners have been killed or wounded by cops serving "No Knock" warrants to the wrong address at 3am, and a homeowner shoots at masked marauders in the dark, not knowing they are cops. Then the HOMEOWNER gets buried as a "Cop Killer" or is charged for defending themselves. Maybe NOW cops will get their acts together.
And the Indiana Supreme Court saying that even when cops act illegally you have no right to resist is blatantly asinine. It's nice to see a state finally getting it right. If cops think it puts a "bounty on our heads", Oh well. How about you guys start taking a little more care to A) get things right on your warrants and B) start stomping on your brother cops when THEY violate the law, instead of closing a blue wall around them and protecting THEM instead of the people you were hired to "Protect and Serve".
